Acceptable Use Policy
What you may not do with our Services, why those limits exist under UAE law, and how we enforce them.
Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may not do with our Services. It applies to you, to every user of your account, and to anyone to whom you resell or provide access. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
The prohibitions here exist for two reasons: to keep the platform safe and available for every customer on it, and to keep both parties on the right side of UAE law — in particular Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Countering Rumours and Cybercrimes, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and the regulatory framework administered by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority.

Your responsibilities

- Ensure any content you host complies with UAE law, including where you are hosting on behalf of others.
- Hold any licence, permit or regulatory approval your activity requires in the UAE.
How we enforce this policy
Where we identify or receive a credible report of a breach, our normal sequence is: notify you, require remediation within a stated period, and escalate only if it is not remediated.
We will act immediately, without prior notice, where the activity presents an active threat to the platform, to other customers or to third parties, where it involves child sexual exploitation material, or where a UAE authority or court directs us to act. Immediate action may include null-routing traffic, suspending an instance, or suspending the account.
We may report unlawful activity to the competent UAE authorities and will comply with lawful orders. We do not issue refunds or service credits for downtime resulting from enforcement action properly taken under this policy.
To report abuse originating from our network, email support@cloudtechtiq.com with the subject line “Abuse report”, including timestamps in GST, source and destination IP addresses, and relevant log extracts.
Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, contact support@cloudtechtiq.com within 10 business days with the account reference and the basis of your appeal. Appeals are reviewed by someone who was not involved in the original decision, and we will respond within 5 business days.
Changes
We may update this policy as legal requirements and abuse patterns change. Material changes take effect 30 days after notification, except where an immediate change is required by law.
